Leo Cariaga first opened Street Image in December 2014 in Lihue, HI. Throughout his high school years, he started customizing vehicles, doing all he could with the limited resources on the island of Kauai. He wanted to change the inaccessibility of these resources and make different builds within reach of Kauai residents. He also started auto body work during his teenage years, learning something new from each vehicle upon which he worked.

Leo began working in the collision industry and, along with technical training and technical courses, gained invaluable experience. When he first started, he worked on vehicles out of his own home's garage. After a while, he decided to give up his full-time career to focus on pursuing his automotive journey. For a while, he worked from home, then eventually moved into a commercial space. Today, Street Image has expanded into a third building, the shop's third phase. For both Leo and his dedicated team of professionals, working on vehicles is a passion.
